24.01.2022 Tomorrow ! Afternoon with the Artists @ the Celestial Gardens Sunday Sun 8 Nov 1pm-6pm... At the Academy of Light Centre, 8 old Belair Road Mitcham Meet the artists with guest speaker & plant music researcher, Renata Ristic: a senior scientist at the University of Adelaide, school of agriculture, food and wine. She is a viticulturist and winemaker and currently working on the effects of bushfire on grapes and wines and what we can do to help the industry to minimise smoke taint in wines. However, she has always been interested in communications with plants and between plants. Artists talks by: - Sacred Resonance Darren Curtis & Bradley Pitt - Plant Music -Renata Ristic: a senior scientist at the University of Adelaide - Kim Bellet - Mel Heatley - Haythem Raslan - Jessica Curtis - Stephen Schubert Starting with an exhibition tour. A selection of the artists from Celestial Gardens will give short talks about their inspirations for the show, philosophy, artistic process and inspirations. Each will bring a personal touch to the experience of their art in the exhibition. A unique chance to meet and mingle with the artists and gallery staff. Sit in and enjoy thee beautiful sculpture garden. $5 conc donation. Register on arrival at the door. $4 Wine and ice tea available.
