21.01.2022 Ranell has been reading a lot of amazing research about training girls in relation to their menstrual cycle and the benefits therein over the past few months. As such she is incorporating this into the @gwsfury organisations strength programming for season 2021. She has been conducting zoom sessions with each of the girls in the Opens, U23s and both pathways teams ( @blacktowncitynetball @baulkhamhillsnetball ) over the past week so that they are fully informed and best prep...ared for the work that she expects them to do until their face-to-face sessions begin in February. They all have access to a specially created password-protected website with this presentation on it as well as beginner-intermediate-advanced strength programs (based upon individual training history) and a ton of mobility and athletic preparation programs for them to complete. Its crucial when working with elite female athletes that all things are considered and implemented into their training programs to ensure maximum gains and minimum injury risk. Ranell is always excited to line up a few private sessions with ASSA athletes in training when she travels interstate, whilst super coach Deb is also very proud to show off her awesome coaching work. Unfortunately Sydney's wet weather brought our last weekend of 2020 coaching to an early end this morning.... Its been an amazing year of staying in Australia for a change - but this gave us an opportunity to work more with our local athletes and meet some amazingly wonderful new families and work with their future superstars which we loved. Thank you for entrusting your treasures with us. We look forward to a future that is more normal than the challenging times that you have have been through. As one of our young footballers wrote in a lovely card to us - "Thank you Ranell for helping me improve and thank you Kip for putting a smile on my face and always making me laugh". Rookie pilot of the drone blamed the true fact that Chaise was moving far too fast (and magnificently well) for him to be able to get much closer until his flying skill improves greatly.
