13.01.2022 Gave the 7000 obsession a water test over to Maggie and back today. I love that boat, I want it back but he won’t sell it to me. All went well, done 42 mile an hour at 6000 revs with a bit more load in it,it’ll sit beautiful! I have two more of these to build next year, pretty similar!

10.01.2022 Had a Fresh Water test today all went well. We ended up getting 40 mile an hour out of a 17 inch prop. Little bit of cavitation when turning so Im gonna drop it one hole,shell be sweet. Next water test will be in the rough salt water.

02.01.2022 Here’s an update on the 6.5! Flotation is in, fuel tanks will be going in. No foam touches the hull of the boat and the hull is sprayed with a anticorrosion product to get the longest life as possible out of the hull.

This ACB 7m Centre Console is an outstanding plate boat Custom Built by Mark Zunker in Ayr QLD. Its is built with 6mm thick hull/transom and 4mm sides, powered by a Suzuki DF250 2010 model with stainless prop and a spare alloy prop, bought from my boat builders' brother who was maticulas with regular maintenance. Also powered by a 36 volt Minn Kota electric motor with a 72-inch shaft and 112 lb of thrust, batteries are charged by a sterling DC/DC charger charged off the crank battery when underway. Inside the centre console is a dry storage area with fuse panels easily excisable with the crank and house batteries visible through a Perspex window, with a red/white hella striplight inside the console storage area, the crank batterie is charged by the outboard and the house charged by the solar panel on the T-Top. The T-Top is fitted with a 50-inch light bar, white side floodlights, rear hella sea hawk red/white flood lights, sounder GPS, minn kota GPS, and 180 w solar panel., and 2 antennas. Under the T-Top is a top radio/storage box, fitted with Fusion Am/FM stereo powering x4 180 w fusion speakers, Icom VHF radio and water switch panels to operate all T-Top electronics. The fuel capacity is 360 L and holds 100 L of water, with fresh water sink, fresh and salt water deck wash, live well tank with light and viewing window above is the bait board with 5 rod holders. The centre console has a 9-inch raymarine axiom sounder for navigation and digital gauges, also a 12-inch raymarine axiom sounder for sonar, side scan, down vision, and 3D mapping, which is also linked through NMEA 2000 to the fusion stereo. There is a waterproof 8 switch panel for lighting, water pumps, deck wash, rear under water light White/blue strobing. There is also a spare 6 switch panel on the console for any future needs. Stainless steering wheel for the hydraulic steering. Located in the console there are 2 tackle storage boxes both holding 4 tackle trays each. There is a red/white hella strip light under the rear of the T-Top and 6 more under the gunnels and 2 side storage pockets. The helm seats are very comfortable adjustable black with grey stitching Axis mojo seats with arm rests. Under the seats is a large storage box, on the starboard side is a 60L eva-cool fiberglass esky on a fridge slide, with the port side for storage. Above this (behind the seats) is a large table that drops down for cooking/rigging and anything else, there are also 2 storage shelves for more storage and under the floor behind the helm seat box is a plumbed kill tank. The cast deck has a large lid with ample storage. Infront of the console is a large storage boxwith a 75L Waeco fridge freezer, the batteries isolator is also there and underneath the fridge freezer is the 3 batteries for the 36 V Minn- Kota. The trailer is also custom built and painted, with a full checker plate floor, boat catch, electric over hydraulic braking system with stainless steel brake calipers, 16-inch alloy mag wheels, with 2 spares. The trailer chassis rails hold 50 L of fresh water for the trailers fresh water wash down system. There is also an electric winch and boat catch, boat drives onto the trailer and engages the boat catch with ease. Trailer is running a flat 7 pin trailer plug and an Anderson plug from car to trailer to power the winch and wash down pump. 14 rod holders in gunnels 5 rod holders on bait board 9 rocket launcher rod holders 4 drink holders in gunnels 2 drink holders in console 8 horizontal rod holders under T-Top 360 L of fuel 100 L of water X 4 stainless steel pop up cleats in gunnels, 2 to the stern and 2 midships 1 fixed stainless steel cleat for anchor at the bow. Boat floor, transom, and cast deck are painted in Jotacote 605 anti-skid paint Boat Redgo current till the 3/Jun/2021 Trailer Redgo current till the 17/Apr/2021
