05.01.2022 Vaile Leonie Jackson ACCAN board and staff are deeply saddened by the passing of Leonie Jackson. Leonie was a dedicated advocate for the Deaf community and made significant contributions to improving the accessibility of telecommunications for the Deaf and hard of hearing community in Australia.... Leonie participated in several ACCANs committees and was a strong supporter of ACCANs work to improve access to telecommunications for all Australians with disability. Our heartfelt condolences to Leonie’s family, friends, and loved ones. She will be sorely missed.
