13.01.2022 CHRISTIAN PETRACCA The ACC alongside its community would like to congratulate Whitefriars College past student and current Melbourne footballer, Christian Petracca for an outstanding season and finish in the Brownlow voting last night. Christian polled 20 votes making it his highest tally so far in his early career. This is a fantastic achievement and we look forward to Christians continued ascension throughout the remainder of his career.

13.01.2022 R U OK? DAY It has been such a tough year so far for our member schools and their communities. But these feelings spread far and wide throughout the country. Today is R U OK? Day. R U OK? have a mission to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and start a conversation with anyone who may be struggling with life.... 13.01.2022 SPORTS KNOWLEDGE LEADERBOARD The final week of competition ended in the first week of the school holidays. But the data has now been collated with the champion of the ACC Sports Knowledge Challenge presented above. We would like to thank all the students that participated in this competition. Big congratulations to T.Cooling from St Bede's College on his nail biting win. T.Haddad from Mazenod College scored 14 in the last week to make up 5 on our now champion.... Great finish to the competition.

13.01.2022 ACC Running Challenge 2.0 We continue to move across Australia with the total Km’s tallied this week reaching 2,648km’s, giving us a grand total of 14,246 Km’s. You have together run from Melbourne to Cranbrook in Tasmania. We are now less than 500 km’s away from lapping the country. This week coming will be the final week of competition so all additional running will help to secure the winning school and winning students in each year level, so make the most of the great we...ather throughout the week. School Leaderboard The leaderboard for week 4 is provided in the post. Please note that the equalisation ratio number is the number to focus on. The number is derived from our largest school in the community, Parade. This Ratio allows schools such as CBC with a quarter of the school population the opportunity to compete against larger schools. Individual Leaderboard These students have run/walked the most kilometres so far in the competition in their year level. Additional totals will be added on top of the current number. Most Accumulated KM’s For The Week This leaderboard shows the top 5 students who ran the most KM’s during this weeks challenge.

11.01.2022 ACC Running Challenge 2.0 The lap of the country is complete!!!!! What a great term of running by the schools within the Association. The total accumulation this week was 6,102 KM’s. In a last week shock, Salesian College Chadstone kept their best running until the end. Their students banded together to submit a massive total of 4,500 KM’s. This helped them to take out the Running Challenge Title! School Leaderboard... The leaderboard for week 4 is provided in the post. 08.01.2022 INTERMEDIATE DEBATING & PUBLIC SPEAKING On Wednesday the ACC hosted its first online debating competition via ZOOM. It was a great event with boys from around the Association logging in remotely and competing with their colleagues to take out this years title.... After intense rounds of debating and public speaking, Mazenod College won both competitions. We would like to congratulate the staff and students at Mazenod along with all the other staff and student participants on the day. Big thanks to the Debating Association Victoria for their assistance on adjudicating and running the event.
