As we get older we need to adapt both training and nutrition as we are not as efficient as we were when we were in our 20's and 30's. Tried an amazing new recipe of Mexican spicy beans with Tumeric fish and mango salsa with greens... 11.01.2022 Wow just finished Chapter 7 Micronutrients;-))...so amazing are our bodies, and how awesome that nature provides a fully integrated pharmacy of food that fuels us to grow! Bottom line every time is "Eating a wide range of whole, less processed plant and animal foods can help us get abundant micronutrients easily and naturally" Sometimes supplementing might be needed, sometimes not. This article is so relevant in our current social culture and I hope you can all find a few minutes to have a break and take a read. Yes there are some fabulous people out there doing amazing things and that's great!! Then there's the rest of us busting our butts to sometimes just get through the day in one piece;-) Yes I am fortunate to be doing some great... running adventures but everyone doesn't see the early...and dark mornings we get up and get out to go run to get the miles up on the legs to get us fit and prepared for these awesome running adventures. We work hard, not always willingly....but we do it because we love it. BUT we still have those days where it just doesn't happen because life, kids, family or ourselves just get in the way. 04.01.2022 This is something I’ve done before and have been eating along this path again recently as I know I feel so good eating this way. If anyone fancies trying plant based eating this would be a great starting point. It doesn’t have to be perfect you just do the best you can and I’m sure you’ll learn a few tips and bits and pieces along the way
