20.01.2022 "Insider's Claudia Romeo traveled to Seine-et-Marne, France to visit Ferme des 30 Arpents. The farm is one of seven farms making raw-milk Brie de Meaux cheese, and the only one that makes it fermier, which means that the cheese is made by hand solely with milk produced by the 250 cows at the farm. Every day, Ferme des 30 Arpents will make about 300 wheels of Brie de Meaux from its herd's milk. Editor's note: This footage was filmed on February 14, 2020. At present, Ferme des 30 Arpents has implemented preventive measures to ensure everyone's safety and has adopted the health regulations in force for its production of farmhouse cheeses. "

There is a huge reliance on unhealthy support systems like drugs and alcohol. The White Jacket Effect was created 2 years ago after the death of my friend, chef and mentor to suicide. I felt it was time to provide some support for the workers within the hospitality industry to deal powerfully with the pressures that they face and live more healthy lifestyles. I am writing to let you know about an awesome upcoming event and would love for you to be involved! Introducing... The Hospo Health Challenge!! It will run throughout the whole month of February 2021. Our goal is to create a Hospo Health Month and for it to be an annual event. We are encouraging the entire hospitality industry in Australia and New Zealand (so far- next year we'll go global!) to get involved. We have some amazing support through the industry with Restaurant & Catering Association, Australian Culinary Federation, Women in Hospitality, TAFE NSW, Smeg Australia, Chef Works Australia and a host of other industry specific supporters behind us. So who is it for; - young/old - front of house/back of house - teachers/students - cafes and hotels ... if you're in hospo - it is for you!!! We have created a club in the Strava App that will monitor members activities through their personal tracking devices. We feel this will generate competitiveness within the industry. Members can enter as individuals but we are encouraging teams! Small Groups, Large Groups, Classes, Whole Restaurants and Venues. We are hoping to get some friendly rivalry happening between the teams, for people to do a bit more exercise, get more fresh air, support each other, take their health seriously and most importantly HAVE FUN!
