A new research project from Monash University called 'Coming Into Their Own: Women of the Silent Generation 19251945' is looking at what women have achieved later in life. 05.01.2022 Monash Health has announced they are offering walk in vaccinations for people aged over 12 with the Moderna vaccine this weekend. People aged over 60 will receive the AstraZeneca vaccine. Given today's announcements mandating vaccinations in many sectors for authorised workers, this is welcome news for people who have not yet managed to secure a vaccination appointment.

04.01.2022 This week during NAIDOC week, AccessCare has partnered with local kindergarten East Beaumaris Kindergarten. The children have been creating artworks and paintings inspired by aboriginal stories, symbols and history. These artworks will be mailed out to our vulnerable home care clients who are living in their own homes and experiencing isolation or loneliness. We have also spoken to some of our aboriginal clients about what NAIDOC week means to them and how the COVID-19 restrictions have impacted their community.
