25.01.2022 Main electrical pits in and level. Its a thing of beauty and a joy forever!~

25.01.2022 Another project milestone today. Last slab poured. Blockwork at halfway mark. Prewire complete on two units. Also renderers have started.

25.01.2022 Big shout to anyone who knows a good sparky in need of a job. We pay top dollar and offer awesome conditions. Really need people now as I had two people leave in the last 4 weeks.

24.01.2022 Corefill for first 8 units now complete. Tomorrow we pipe up 8 more units and start running internal cables for units 1-4. This thing is humming!!!

23.01.2022 Wiring units. Scissor lift makes life easy!

22.01.2022 Main switch boards take their place. Some sub boards installed. Waiting on Gyprockers and Painters.

21.01.2022 This unassuming little pipe has the auspicious honour of being the last conduit to be installed on the project. Celebrated with a quiet rum after work! Final corefill tomorrow.

18.01.2022 Final unit prewired today. Started installation of comms undergrounds. Fitted off 10 units.

17.01.2022 Office ready for gyprock tomorrow. Should be ready for paint by Monday then move in mid week.

17.01.2022 Conduits in the ground trench backfilled and some cables installed. This project consists of 40 commercial units with two buildings containing 20 units each. With so many trades working side by side mistakes are almost inevitable. Today one excavator driver managed to rip out a freshly laid communications conduit we had laid only half an hour earlier and another guy skimmed the top of our power conduits coming within 10mm of ripping out freshly laid power conduits with cable inside. Unsavoury words were exchanged!!!

16.01.2022 One of three cables damaged by the excavator drivers. Would have been nice if they came and let me know! Luckily I saw it before the concrete went in covering it forever and preventing a repair!

16.01.2022 Milestone at our project today. All submains finally installed. Thats 3.5Km of cable!!. Blockies are full steam ahead and the final corefill for the first 8 units happens tomorrow.

14.01.2022 6 units prewired this weekend. Humming!!

13.01.2022 Door and window in, A/C, elec lights etc finished, floor covering down, skirting almost complete. Just gotta hook the phone line up and move in. Pics to come!

13.01.2022 Now this is a tidy trenching job. Up to the Access Electrical standard!!!...and performed by yours truly:) This took two hours to dig, install conduit and backfill.Sometimes the boss has gotta show em how its done.

12.01.2022 Who needs a capstan winch.

12.01.2022 Moved bare basic office stuff in today. All complete, just needs everything moved in and sorted.

10.01.2022 Final corefill complete. 32 units prewired. Final 8 to be prewired this week then we start our fit off.

09.01.2022 A quick summary of our projects on the go right now include the 40 units, three houses, a backyard workshop, two kitchen renos, installation of a soft starter for a pump at a melon farm, small office upgrade at a woodworking factory, some A/C servicing, oven and stove repairs, smoke alarm inspections and general household maintenance for three rental companies and more. Hmmm might need to look for some more work...NOT!!!

08.01.2022 First core fill today. 8 units lower level complete 32 to go!

07.01.2022 Busiest time of the year and one of my tradies decides to take an early xmas holiday...permanently!! Excellent...12 hour days on the tools then late nights in the office again for me. Living the dream apparently.

07.01.2022 Look closely at the inside of the brick. The blocklayers wanted to move our conduits because they were in the way of the blocks. They know that heat softens the PVC and allows the conduits to be moulded and bent so whats the solution?? Light a fire in the block with old cement bags of course!! Much easier than coming and asking us to do it!!!!!!.

07.01.2022 Anyway first concrete down today. Big milestone for the project. 14 weeks left to completion...or so the program says!!

06.01.2022 Our new office sheeted painted and Elec almost done. Might get time this weekend to finish it. Just waiting for door and window to arrive.

04.01.2022 We are very conscious of our safety at access electrical.......and we love playing dress ups and taking selfies!

02.01.2022 Project is full steam ahead. Over 3km of cable installed, 16 slabs poured, 8 units blocked up to first level, getting hectic on site!

02.01.2022 Coms pits in, all mains and sub mains in, fit of about 70% complete. 3-4 weeks to completion.
