22.01.2022 It was an honour to tell the story of Nathan Gremmo and Jersey Day in the Senate today. Jersey Day was inspired by the gift of life that 13 year-old Nathan Grem...mo gave to six people when he became an organ donor after a tragic accident in 2015. This Friday, Australians are invited across schools and workplaces to wear a favourite sporting jersey, and to have a conversation with friends and family about organ and tissue donation. I thank the hundreds of schools, organisations and businesses that have supported Jersey Day, including Perth Glory in my home state of WA and the AFA Association of Financial Advisers. Jersey Day is about raising awareness. It's fun, it’s free and by registering to become a donor you could be helping to save a life.
