21.01.2022 Find the hidden ocean pools on a day excursion from our park and be back in time for dinner :) Complete the tourist loop of the Great Ocean Drive The Great Ocean Drive begins only a few kilometres from the Esperance town centre. The full drive is 38km and showcases some of the region’s stunning coastal scenery. If you want to see it close up, there are also cycling and walking paths all the way from the Esperance Esplanade to the picturesque Twilight Cove. Popular swimming spots on the route include Blue Haven Beach, Twilight Cove and Salmon Beach. And for those keen on snorkelling, the rock pools at Nine Mile Beach are a perfect stop-off.

20.01.2022 What's On: Edge of the Bay Saturday 5 December 2020. An action- packed event now in its fifth year. Offering a variety of entertainment options & throughout the day, there promises to be a host of things to see and do for all ages. Kite Kinetics are visiting Esperance again to decorate our sky with bright colours and host a windmill workshop. This year it is expected that Edge of the Bay 2020 will be even better. An epic line-up of local musicians have signed onto the event, and the ever-popular Battle of the Bay is back again.

16.01.2022 Hello, :) Lake Hillier is one of Australia’s most famous pink lakes, featuring widely across social media and in the media. It’s located off the coast of Esperance in Western Australia on Middle Island, the largest of the islands that make up the Recherche Archipelago. They'll be sure to present the crowds with some impressive form and pure race excitement as these cars kick off round 2 of the WA Formula 500's West Coast Series here on the 20th of November.

07.01.2022 Interesting ruins of an 1870s homestead just a short distance from the shores of Stokes Inlet. Visitors are welcome to visit the ruins, consisting of roofless limestone walls, but access via Fanny Cove Track is suitable only for high clearance four-wheel drives. In 1873, Alexander and John Moir were granted a lease of 14 000 acres around Stokes Inlet, extended by 57 000 acres in 1888. The Moirs established a homestead near the eastern shore of the inlet and grazed sheep thro...ugh the coastal vegetation, which they burned in patterns to provide fresh feed. They shipped their wool from nearby Fanny Cove, together with valuable sandalwood they gathered from the surrounding country. A small area was cleared near the homestead and first barley and then other grain crops were grown as feed for the stock. In the 1890s, the cove was used by miners going to the Dundas and Norseman goldfields.
