25.01.2022 Waychinicup. Peaceful, secluded, beautiful with a stream and small waterfall to round off perfection - and a sacred place to the local Aborigines. You may even catch a salmon by the tail off the rocks, and be careful, they say these salmon may pull you straight into the water :)

18.01.2022 Family day out or 3 easy rides Three short rides or one longer ride all on shared paths. Remember to give way to pedestrians. Start: Lawley Park, Brunswick Rd, 500m from town.... Town to Middleton Beach 9 km's return. Follow the shared path to the end of Brunswick Road, then along the boardwalk to Middleton Beach. Middleton Beach to Emu Point 8 km's return. Continue on the shared path along the coast to Emu Point and the nearby fishing boat marina. Emu Point to Lower King Bridge -18 km's return. On the way back deviate at Griffiths St onto the shared path. Bring food to share or just for y...ou, games to play, your picnic blanket or chairs, warmth and your friends and family. We will have some gazebos up to block the breeze. This is an alcohol-free event. This picnic is happening as part of Albany's Town Team activities during summer. There will be a picnic at the same place, same time for the coming 5 weeks (Jan 14,21,28)(Feb 4). The aim is to bring the Albany community together for regular gatherings focused on growing sustainable community connection.
