18.01.2022 Apparently I missed a call from Kevin Hogan tonight asking how I was. When I tried to send him a message it was unable to be sent to that number. No surprise, I can imagine how many people would like to contact him & have their say. This is mine to him & every other politician.... Hi Kevin, Its Alison Tomlinson. I missed your call. I'm heartbroken. I manage Australian Community Care Network Grafton. I sell low cost groceries to centrelink recipients & people who are strugg...ling financially. I'm seeing the homeless, the people struggling to pay their bills & afford to eat. The volunteers at Australian Community Care Network Grafton are loving on them 5 days a week. I'm seeing the lack of resources for our community & I am glad that I am able to be on the front line helping & giving these people, HOPE!! Today a lady with a 4 year old came in the shop. They've been living in the car for 3 months. This little boy was broken. Mum tried to hide the tears but when she knew I knew & started to ask her if she was ok, she broke down. He'd had enough too. This afternoon when I left him & his mother I could see the change, they felt loved just because we cared about them & she was SO GRATEFUL.
