25.01.2022 A lazy sunny Sunday Here we are, all 4 of us in residence at the moment. Lots of space to ourselves in our suites. Maggy, Jesper, Harry, and Brian.

25.01.2022 RIP Harley. We say farewell to another little friend of ours, Harley a frightened timid little torti girl who hid under her chaise for her first stay but then progressed to venturing out and sleeping on top of it until disturbed, passed away suddenly today. A feisty little senior lady who we will miss very much. ... RIP Harley Sincere condolences to Tanya on the loss of Harley.

25.01.2022 Cat and or Animal Rescue. With SWAR and Tanya's personal re homing service now closed we have been looking for another worthy cause. We believe we have found two Perth based organisations. Perth Rescue Angels - https://www.perthrescueangels.org/ and the Animal Protection Society Western Australia (APSWA)- http://www.apswa.asn.au... Both organisations are involved in the re homing of cats and dogs and other four legged furries. If you are seeking another companion please consider them. Some of the cats in the care of the APSWA have never known a home and are quite senior in their years, they deserve a loving home the same as all those fluffy little kitties. Alison

25.01.2022 Jesper is missing his dad. Jesper has gotten used to dad working from home and has managed to convince him that he (dad) should spend a lot of quality time with Jesper. Normally it is mum who gets to spoil Jesper all the time.

24.01.2022 Our apologies, We do apologise for the lack of posts the past evenings however things are a little lean with new faces in the house. For those that look for those daily posts we are sorry. Its a sign of the times unfortunately.

23.01.2022 Wizard could use a loving warm quiet home with someone who will give him his daily pills. That person could be you!!

22.01.2022 Wasabi is having a holiday. Wasabi is a bit of a regular and knows the routine now, bed, food, and a nice hiding spot as he tends to be a bit anti his feline compatriots. He has always been a non jumper so even though he is not an old guy he needs a ladder to help him up and down.

21.01.2022 Glow deserves a nice home where she can develop the trust to become a loving companion. Do not be put off by FIV (Feline Aids) if managed properly she can live to a ripe old age,. It is not a death sentence. Please consider Glow or pass her details to someone you know that may be looking for a special fur friend.

19.01.2022 Abigail is a cute little lady who has never been in a cattery before, she was lucky to have family who would look after her. She took a little while to settle into the cattery life but has now realised it isn't so bad, she goes out in the exercise area with some of the others and they all find their own little space and co-exist.

19.01.2022 Kolt, that's Kolt with a 'K' not a 'C'. I'm a bit of a handsome boy, being large and fluffy. I do get quite grumpy when I first arrive but after a day or so I am happy to be patted and picked up. I just don't understand why mum and dad would go away and leave me behind.

19.01.2022 Lucy and Sylvester. Lucy and Sylvester are checking in for mum n dad who have gone down south to visit family. They are seasoned guests and quite used to cattery life. Sylvester is probably the more laid back and wasted no time getting out and about in the exercise run. Lucy is a little more circumspect about her surroundings and is choosing to stay in her igloo until she has it all figured out.

19.01.2022 3 very cute kitties. Doug found a new mum who loves him as much as his other mum did before she had to find him his new home. Iggy also found a new mum who loves her more than her other mum did, Iggy was not sterilised & had a litter of kittens before the Cat Haven found her her new home. Link is the old boy in the trio, he eats, sleeps and is in his twilight years. Doug, Iggy & Link

17.01.2022 An update from " Brian" Hello all Brian here just letting you all know how I am doing. I had my one attempt at freedom from the Super Max facility and then the labour came in and sealed up my escape route. I got past the fist fence but couldnt beat the outer fence.... I have settled down very well and adjusted quite quickly to the idea of being fussed over by hoomans. The paparazzi comes see me every morning and sits with me for an hour or so and again most evenings where I curl up on his lap and get my little paws going with happiness. I have nice sharp claws that i can dig into his legs although they keep saying they will be trimmed on Friday. I am off to the vets again for my second F5 jab and then another 2 weeks later I am then free to find my furrever home. I have two expressions of interest from two lovely ladies who want to dote on my every need so things are looking up.

17.01.2022 AS the house fills up for holidays we feature a fine selection of felines. Rosie, Dali, Indy, Eskimo, Peanut and Ditty

17.01.2022 STEP UP FOR SAMMY Now Sammy truly deserves a furever home. There are so many available however we personally are at our quota somoene could step up for Sammy

17.01.2022 A terrific twosome to brighten up any household especially - Yours!! Whats better than one cat two of course.

16.01.2022 Precious popped back for another holiday while mum and dad wander out yonder for a few days. Settling in with bed and blanket, a bit of time out in the sunshine, plenty of food, what more could a girl want? Here she is Precious.

14.01.2022 Panda. Sometime ago we posted about Panda who had gone missing in the Eaton area. Panda was re united with his owner today after having been caught in the same street. He was caught in a cat trap!! We are pleased that he has been re united and it was a good outcome, that he was found alive after his adventure.

14.01.2022 Sabry. I could be named after the great Egyptian footballer Sabry after all he was good with his feet and I'm pretty handy with my paws too. I am a rescue cat and my mum loves me too bits, I'm having a holiday while mum is away. I have had a great day today I made a friend Sooty who was a rent inspection day stay we played together most of the afternoon, when I wasn't playing with Sooty I was supervising the reno's in the singles wing. I kept tapping the maintenance man up making him hurry along. Anyway here I am I have been told I am beautiful I think my best feature is my big fluffy tail.

13.01.2022 Christmas Bookings Only 90 days to Christmas and hasn't it been a fun year. Don't be left out the single runs are filling quickly the doubles a bit slower. When they are gone they are gone. We will be closed on Friday the 25th (Christmas Day) and Saturday the 26th (Boxing Day)... If you are looking at this period you will need to have your beloved puss in by 6:00PM Christmas Eve and the earliest pick up will be Sunday the 27th 12:00PM

13.01.2022 Rosie from Perth Rescue Angels arent they the eyes of a little girl that wants a home

13.01.2022 So Many lovely boys and girls needing nice homes at Perth Rescue Angels what's not to love about a Ginger boy. Enquire with Perth Rescue Angels

12.01.2022 Poppy pops in for a short stay. Poppy has been here for a number of stays and is now a regular little star on Facebook. She is as cute as a button & is a favourite of ours being both a black cat and a SAFE rescue cat. Ticks all the boxes. Not that we have favourites really, they are all our faves!!!

11.01.2022 We will be making a small contribution how about you! The Angels do good work in the animal community please support them with a gold coin.

09.01.2022 The life of "Brian" Hello Everyone I thought I would update you all on cattery life and "Me" My friend Fletcher went home yesterday and there was no fur flying between us when we met. I passed the sniff test and no fighting test.... I have a new home to go to when I finish my injections this week and the school holidays are over. I'm told it is quite a long way from here it will be so exciting. I even have to get to know a doggo. Another nice lady also wanted to give me a furrever home, Thank you Kathleen, she has adopted a little doggo now which is good cos Gus is saved too. But enough talk your really want to see handsome me, don't you! Brian

08.01.2022 From the Perth Rescue Angels website Here is Weasley he would love a new home with a furrever family.

08.01.2022 Kizzie's mum is on the move so Kizzie came to us for a holiday & safety. Moving is a stressful time for all of us so it is a wise move to ensure your feline friend is safe and secure while all the activity is happening. Once the move is complete it is vital to keep puss indoors until they settle which could be some time. One way to know they are settling is to watch the clean themselves, if they do a good job they are settling into the new place.

08.01.2022 Lemon's my name but not my nature. My mum had a beautiful big boy cat but he had an aneurism and died suddenly. 12 months later to the day I came into her life as a 5 week old kitten with a bad back leg that needed to be amputated so she took me home to recover and now I have my furever home with my beautiful mum. Aren't I just the luckiest Lemon that you know.

08.01.2022 Putting this handsome man out there. there is a comment associated with this post " If you cant afford a pet don't get one" it is a very true statement. Having said that there must be someone out there that will give this boy the love and attention he deserves. He is one of many in the care of the organisation that needs a forever home.

05.01.2022 At Animal Protection Society WA (APSWA) Dillie has been waiting for her forever home for almost half her expected lifespan she deserves better. Dillie Female, DSH Black, DOB 15/10/09... Hello! Im Dillie. Im hoping its still not too late for me to find my forever home Ive been at APS almost all my life but I never give up hope. I have been constantly overlooked by adoptees because I can be a little bit shy when I first meet someone new to me. Over the years I have built up my confidence, I think in a quiet home if I am given plenty of time to adapt and get acquainted with my surroundings I will do well. I would enjoy the company of a nice hooman or couple who will give me the love and pampering I deserve! I still have so much love to give! Please make an appointment and see what a special girl I am. To meet Dillie and the others waiting for their forever family contact the Animal Protection Society of WA. https://www.facebook.com/APSofWA/ Tel: 08 9398 6616 or [email protected].

03.01.2022 The lovely people at Perth Rescue Angels stepped up and saved this beautiful fur person, Heath, sadly the initial treatment didn't work and Heath has joined the three legger community. Please share a dollar or two by visiting their website and donating to his medical costs.

01.01.2022 Shimba & Missy Moo Missy Moo is the regular little flirt when at the cattery, smoochs & pats & hardly sits still for the camera, Shimba is more aloof, keeping to himself as befits a beautiful brown Bengal baby. Here we are mum. Shimba & Missy Moo.

01.01.2022 Timmy enjoys a bit of a lounge when he comes to stay, he has trouble getting out of his own shadow he is so laid back. Generally found either on or under his bed he is a problem free fur baby who has been much loved by his mum for many years.
