09.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Anaphylaxis & Asthma: Safe Work Australia have updated their 'Code of Practice' for First Aid in the Workplace... The code of practice now encourages workplaces to consider including in their First Aid Kits:... - Asthma relieving inhaler & spacer for Asthma Attacks & - Epinephrine Auto-Injector (EpiPen) for treatment of Anaphylaxis or severe allergies. These should be stored according to the manufacturers' instructions and first aiders should be provided with the appropriate training. Congratulations to Global Anaphylaxis Awareness and Inclusivity on your campaign to get this recognised within Safe Work Australia's 'Code of Practice'. Anaphylaxis and Asthma are serious, life threatening conditions which still aren't talked about enough. The more exposure we can give to Anaphylaxis & Asthma the more lives we might save.
