18.01.2022 Pinched from my good mate and fellow hunter Keith Drain: As most of you know, I hunt and I hunt for meat. Today we are being told that hunting and fishing is not allowed but we can go to the supermarket for food or even a video game. If I was to go hunting on private property, I would make significantly less contact with people. I would not expose myself or anyone else to the virus unlike going to the shops. I consider it significantly more dangerous to go to the shops to bu...y a tray of meat than to go and shoot my own wild game. I’m all for following sensible rules and foregoing some freedoms where the make a dent in this disease to keep people safe from COVID-19 but I am not cool with the NSW government arbitrarily stopping people from doing something that gives that person exercise and his family food. It is ridiculous and there either has been no thought put into this decision or lots of it.

14.01.2022 Who wants to hunt camels?? Accurate Hunts now has access to some of the only Camels in Northern QLD. These free ranging mature Camels can be hunted with bow or rifle, with on farm accommodation in the farm house. These are some BIG tough and nasty critters. Flat skins take around 5 hours to get done and up to 8 for a shoulder cape. DM if you are interested in pricing. Oh and bring your esky! We were melting with tears of laughter and Townsville humidity all week but got it done. The recent rains had turned everything green pushing the big boys all over the place.
