20.01.2022 Great opportunity to find out how to keep your mind still - and why! And/or, explore Shavasana. It is often given as a little rest after a yoga class, but there is much more to the Corpse Pose than a little snooze. Classes with Mataji, contact through the Australian College of Classical Yoga

17.01.2022 Retreat! 4 reasons to come to retreat 1. It’s near Bendigo. The bushland of this district is what I have always thought of as typically Australian 2. Sarah, our host, home-cooks all meals, on Ayurvedic principles 3. Fantastic to hang out with peaceful folks who look a bit deeper into life than most do 4. Ohyes, the other reason: It is about stillness of mind, how to get to it, how it changes your life.... https://www.swamishantananda.com.au/blackburn-meditation// See more

13.01.2022 Meditation breakfast at Wattle Park Yesterday morning after meditation, some of us headed down to Wattle Park. Curious summer day - quite a cold wind, but the rain held off... and the company was warm

12.01.2022 Can you "get it" in a weekend? Probably not... but you can get a new way of looking at how things are...

10.01.2022 Hi Yogis and Yoginis! Unfortunately due to the new health restrictions we are closing the studio as of midday today. We hope to be bringing most classes online, where it is possible. We love bringing yoga and meditation to everyone, and will do whatever we can to continue to do so. Please be patient and check this page and the website for updates as we go. Looking forward to the online adventure!

02.01.2022 NAMASTE ! Much better than an elbow bump or a foot shake, don't you think? Maybe not as good as a hug, but I guess we're not doing that for a while. It literall...y means, Bow to you! Not really all the other sweet things that have attached to it, like "my heart meets your heart", nor "the divine in me greets the divine in you". It just means I bow to you, or I honour you. And even that is a slight alteration of the original. What does it mean to a native speaker? Why, it means "Namaste", of course, heheh.
