19.01.2022 It's hard to think of a better way to wrap up this tricky year. Any words would feel shallow compared to the energy we felt yesterday. We started with a spontaneous jam session with kids when tuning the instruments. We had a great Capoeira session, with maculelê and roda. ... Our camarada Pedrinha had his birthday (nobody managed to give him a rasteira), who brought tasty cupcakes for everyone. And last but not least, we went to the Lyrebird Lounge open mic where *thee* of our Capoeiristas played! Margherita (who joined us this week) surprised everybody with her amazing voice and skills playing "Onde anda você" by Tom Jobim and Shakespeare smashed the night with his amazing interpretations of classics such as Wicked Game by Chris Isaak, where Andorinha and her violin jumped in!
