09.01.2022 My wonderful walker Molly has been teaching little Indi to wait before she jumps out of the car ... of course, she nailed it along with an immediate sit afterwards What's the point? I'm glad you asked... ... The wait command teaches your dog to focus on you. It teaches them not to move until you release them which is a huge benefit to help prevent them from bolting out the door, down the stairs, out of a car etc. It allows daily life to be more manageable and helps to build appropriate impulse control. Does your dog have good manners like Indi? @mazpells
