23.01.2022 Few years in the making but finally, over the weekend, our Under 13 squad won the 2020 Under 13 Regional Boys Team Challenge in Altona, Melbourne! Especially proud as all the boys are homegrown players, beginning their badminton journey with us. Congratulations to all the boys for their massive efforts over the last year in training, training until you guys were unable to walk. The result is well deserved and a reflection of all the hard work and dedication put in. In addit...ion, thank you to all of our coaches who have helped out and played a part in the boys development over the last few years. Without your dedication and willingness to sacrifice your time, this result would not be achievable today. Also thank you to BadmintonWorx for their continuous support towards our club. Furthermore, thank you to the parents who have always provided their full support to the kids training and our club. Without your support our club would also not be where we are today. Thank you to Altona Badminton Centre for again hosting an incredibly well run tournament. Even with the amount of games needed to be played and number of players needing to be organised, everything run impeccably smoothly. Thank you for continuing to provide the next generation with this fantastic opportunity to compete. We understand that sometimes families dont often get to enjoy the sport together as a family on the court and so we hoped to provide them with that opportunity and increase the interest in the sport amongst younger kids.
