21.01.2022 Do you need to contact us? If this applies to your BUSINESS have you completed the necessary steps? Recent modifications to the JobKeeper scheme allowing certain new employees to qualify for JobKeeper payments from 3 August 2020 has placed additional obligations and deadlines on eligible employers. This includes the need to provide all newly eligible employees with the employee nomination form by Monday 24 August 2020 and to satisfy the ‘wage condition’ (i.e., make appropriate employee payments) by 31 August 2020.

14.01.2022 Just a quick post that with the most recent announcement regarding the JobKeeper extension (JobKeeper 2.0), we are aware that there has been some changes to employee eligibility. This will include changing the date of eligibility from March 1st to July 1st. It has been suggested by the treasury that these are going to come into effect starting from August 3rd. This will effect those that have had employee changes, or for those that have become eligible during March 1st-July 1...st. However, this has not been legislated as yet, and we are monitoring the situation very closely for more guidance from the ATO. When we find out further information we will continue to give this information through our social media posts. In the highly likely event that this change to JobKeeper 1.0 is also included in the legislation as has been suggested, top up payments for eligible employees will need to be made, as the "one in, all in" rule will still apply. Please let us know if you have any questions, and we will let you know as things change. #jobkeeper #jobkeeper2 #COVID19 #ausgovernment #accountant #acebusiness

05.01.2022 A massive congratulations to one of our very valued clients - Alison Meaney from Bukirk Glamping Clare Valley for taking out the People's Choice award at the SA Woman Awards 2021. It has been an amazing journey for us here at Ace Business to walk alongside Alison on her business journey, and watch her business grow and succeed. It hasn't been easy for Alison, but she has battled through it all with a lot of hard work and determination and is an incredible business woman who thoroughly deserves this award. Congratulations Alison from your friends here at Ace Business.

03.01.2022 Hi Guys, We received news that one of the products that we love and trust has had a name change overnight. We know that this may be a little confusing, but was a strategic decision on their behalf as they are expanding their product range quite rapidly. If you've received an email regarding this, then please know that it isn't a scam and shouldn't cause any issues on your end. So, what does this change for end users? ... Not a lot really. It's still an amazing product, and you can still login at the same location for the web version. The app in your phone will now say Dext instead of Receipt Bank. It will still save you a lot of time each and every week. You can still email in your documents using your existing @receipt-bank.me address or your new @dext.cc email-in address. They will accept both! I'll attach a statement from Adrian Blair - CEO of Receipt Bank that was posted on the Receipt Bank Fan Club FB Group (Yes people love RB that much that they have a Fan Club!) in the comments that explains the reasoning behind it. For those that don't know what Receipt Bank/Dext is, it is a truly amazing product that we use, that allows you to take photos of receipts, and pull that information into Xero, pulling all of the values out of those receipts. It allows you to literally take a photo of a receipt and throw it away. Amazing technology. If you aren't using it, and want more information then please email [email protected] to ask for more information. Thanks for your understanding and have a wonderful day. The Ace Business Team
