23.01.2022 On my early morning walk I came upon an Arbor on the edge of The Royal National Park, someone has had a lovely bush ceremony, I walk this way often and have never thought of this being a gorgeous spot for a small wedding, how mistaken I was, definitely no heels or dragging trains for this lovely spot.

21.01.2022 Today Dylan and Olivia held their wedding at a very wet and cold Robertson, they will remember 2020 for the rest of their lives and have something wonderful to tell their grandchildren about 2020 other than what will be in the history books, the year that they said, I Do, they said their own personal vows to one another and Dylan said one to his step son, then presented him with a beautiful Thor necklace to remind him of this special day that shone bright for the three of them today, strengthening their family unit. They had a lovely photo board of all the special people who had passed, they lit a candle in their memory of their loved ones who’ve passed, never to be forgotten I wish you good luck and hope all of tour dreams come true

20.01.2022 Today was the farewell of a lovely lady who sadly passed away exactly 1 month to the day her Mother did, Sandra came out of hospital to attend her mother’s funeral she had fought cancer bravely for the past 5 months, she was a woman that looked after others, she held no judgement, if you needed help she was there in a flash, her family has had to endure two funerals in 6 weeks, they handled their pain with courage and spoke lovingly about their sister and mother, she will never be forgotten, it’s timely to remember the words of Maya Angelou, I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel blessing and love to her heartbroken family



19.01.2022 Yesterday I conducted a service for a special couple who have been together for 9 years the ceremony was held on a stunning day at Jimmys Beach, Hawks Nest. The beautiful bride was at my own wedding 42 years ago with her mother Lyndal, Leanne was a happy 6 year old who lived in the same unit block as we did, we all formed great friendships, sadly Lyndal is no longer with us, her memory and Jaysons parents who have also passed were honoured and remembered on the day their children were tied in marriage. Leanne and Jayson wrote their own vows to each other that was also an emotional moment as they expressed their love and promises to each other, it was a privilege to declare them to be husband and wife, congratulations Leanne and Jayson, I wish you both great joy and happiness for your future as Mr and Mrs

10.01.2022 Yay another wedding! Covid restrictions didn’t not daunt Nicole and Paul from having a beautiful, warm and loving wedding on top of the escarpment overlooking the stunning vista of the coal coast, it was a hot, sunny day, no doubt you all would’ve had a stunning of the amazing full moon as it came up over the horizon another auspicious moment on your special day. Nicole and Paul were surrounded by the people they love most in this world and celebrated the people who were no longer in this world with a candle lighting, thank you both for having me officiate at your happy and loving wedding. Best wishes for your married life



08.01.2022 Grateful Hi Kerry On behalf of my whole family, I just wanted to belatedly thank you for your patience, help and support leading up to and during Dad’s farewell. You helped us create an incredibly fitting farewell for him.... All the best Wade Kerry, I just wanted to thank you from all the family for conducting mums funeral service yesterday. It was sad but also beautiful and honored her as the special person she was. You helped make it a very special day for us all. Mavis

07.01.2022 This week I had two coincidences, or synchronicities, first I was walking one of the dogs last week, when I felt the sun on my shoulders, you know that lovely warmth you get, that makes you feel glad to be alive, this happened again later in the afternoon, enough for me to say out loud "I love the sun on my back" well the next day I was doing a service for a young man who took his own life, his brother stood up to speak, during his talk, he told everyone how much his brother ...loved the sunshine on his shoulders and how it made him feel, the memory of the day before came flooding back to me, when I retuned to the lectern, I recounted what had happened to me the day before, I suggested that the next time that they also felt this warmth that they remember with love the man who had just died. My second encounter was just as strange, I was on my way to a service, not far from the cemetery, the police were pulling cars over for a mandatory drug test, which I was one of, this test took 4 minutes, I was quite astounded that they had me waiting there for that long, anyway I was soon on my way, when I got there I was walking to where I had to be, when I recognised a tiny lady, whose daughter had passed away two week prior, not only did she lose a daughter but a few days later her husband also passed away, for the same disease, she was carrying the ashes of her daughter, we had a chat and a laugh, then she said that she had been so sad about coming to pick up her daughter, she then said that running into me had brightened her day, for me to have run into her was a one in a million chance, if I had not been held up by the drug test our paths would not have crossed. Both these synchronistic moments, was in my humble opinion divine moments. The universe works in mysterious ways.

04.01.2022 I was deeply touched this week to receive flowers as a thank you for a service I conducted last week, my services are unique and as personal as I can be, so being recognised for my work is sincerely gratifying.
