16.01.2022 Our AGM is underway in the beautiful Alexandra Headlands on the Sunshine Coast. Its nice to have a sea change amidst this drought we are all feeling.

16.01.2022 David Littleproud MP Helen Dalton MP Michael McCormack MP this NEEDS to happen. We are a small farm machinery business in Griffith NSW that started from scratch... that has been in business now for just over 2 yrs (pretty much since the drought started) whos sole income is derived from farm machinery sales, parts & service. Our customers - farmers & contractors. We feel the affects of drought the same as our farming customers, if they are not making any money because of the drought neither are we. But taxes are the first things to be paid! We have become as efficient as we can be by running on the bare minimum to keep on top of expenses, keep our staff employed & keep our doors open but the government is the first to put their taxing hand out to make sure they get their $$$. Please help make this happens to ease the burden on small businesses around the country & to ensure we are here when the drought breaks so we can continue to support our farmers in the good times. #DroughtTaxBreaks Australian Bradfield Scheme #Bradfieldscheme See more

02.01.2022 With very few crops to harvest for professional contractors in 19, its going to be a tough 12 months for many rural businesses.

02.01.2022 Exactly. Well said. The chief medical officers of each state need to understand what is required for primary food producers & their vital service industry people & their businesses, do to provide food for the wider community. Surely exemptions/permits/passes can be defined for these people & businesses under their own specific or industry level developed COVID plans that allow food to be produced & harvested. Self isolation & social distancing for agricultural people, harvesting contractors & their staff is a normal every day event. Common sense rulings or regulations in this area must rise to the top here.

02.01.2022 Maybe they should close the grain tanks next time........
