20.01.2022 UPDATED RESPONSE TO MISINFORMATION BEING SPREAD (22 November 2020) There have been rumours and false claims circulating recently regarding the proposed Constitu...tion and Property Trust Act. Whilst we greatly encourage healthy discussion and debate, we must ensure these discussions are based on fact. At the request of His Eminence Metropolitan Tadros, amendments have been made to both the English and Arabic documents. The documents set out some background regarding why these amendments were initially proposed, and why they are will help to ensure the good governance and future of our Diocese. It is important to note that, from the outset, this whole process to amend our Diocese’s founding documents (and to implement a Board of Trustees structure) proceeded under the guidance of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II. We encourage you to read all documents, and continue to submit your welcomed feedback. 09.01.2022 Today ACHCS visited 6 nursing home who have Coptic residents. We were joined by two different choirs and a number of volunteers both young and old. It was a l...ovely long but fruitful day. Our younger generation gave up their time to share the joy of Christmas with their Gedoo’s and Teta’s in nursing homes. Our goal is to be there for those who are isolated or going through difficult times, have no family around them or as a family need support. May the Lord Bless His helpers young and old who helped put a smile on the faces of elderly COPTS in various places today.
