17.01.2022 GREAT NEWS!! I am very pleased to announce that Aches Away Remedial Massage will be re-opening for Remedial Massage Services starting next week Wednesday the 29th of April. QLD Health has relaxed the restrictions in regards to Remedial Massage:... Massage therapy is now allowable for the management or prevention of a disease, injury or condition, provided by a qualified massage therapist, with high hygiene standards and social distancing observed to the extent possible. The online booking system is back up and running, so if you would like to make an appointment you can now book online again: www.achesawaymassage.com.au/bookings. 15.01.2022 My dear clients, Following PM's announcement of COVID19 restrictions on Tue 24 March and the communication I received from my massage association (Massage and Myotherapy Australia) I unfortunately had to close my massage clinic temporarily from midnight Wed 25 March At this stage I will close for an initial period of minimum of 2 weeks until the 9th April 2020.I will keep you up to date if this period has to be extended - I will only reopen when the government deem it safe ...to do so - your health and wellbeing is too important to me to take any risks! I opened up the online booking system for now so you will still be able to book appointments online from 9 April - I'll be in touch if we need to reschedule again. I've already been in contact with everyone booked in this week, in the next few days I'll get in touch with everyone booked in for the next 2 weeks to reschedule your appointments. 13.01.2022 My dear Clients, As per my previous post I was hoping the COVID-19 situation might settle down enough in the last 2 weeks that I would be able to re-open on 9 April 2020. Unfortunately I haven't received any communication from the government or my massage association yet that Remedial Massage businesses are allowed to re-open. There is a bit of good news though: This week the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Victoria had decided to re-include Remedial Massa...ge as an essential service in Victoria, so massage clinics in Victoria was allowed to re-open this week. Fingers crossed Queensland Health will do the same! For everyone with an appointment from 9 April onwards: I'll contact you personally 2 days prior if I have to cancel your appointment. I don't want to just cancel all appointments at this stage as I'm hoping Queensland Health will follow Victoria and allow Remedial Massage to re-open. If I had to cancel your appointment I'll be in touch again to re-schedule once I have certainty I'm allowed to re-open And I'll defnitely put a HUGE post on facebook then as well!!
