25.01.2022 I am actually really enjoying Telehealth! Initially I was skeptical about how much you could achieve without having your hands on and performing some of the diagnostic testing we do as Physiotherapists. But it turns out we do a lot more watching, listening, and talking than I first thought . I am getting some great results and feedback so far

24.01.2022 Achieve Physiotherapys doors are now closed! After 9 years! As much as Ill miss part time work and my lovely clients I will certainly enjoy getting paid to have holidays again And am excited about working where my career, and childhood, first started Best wishes to you all x

24.01.2022 Wonderful clients, due to the current outbreak of COVID-19, can anyone developing possible symptoms of the virus please be cleared by your GP before having an appointment. Your understanding is appreciated and will help to reduce the risk of exposure for the more vulnerable. Rest assured hand washing and surface sanitisation continues to be thorough

24.01.2022 I’m back at work! With lots of plans in place to be as safe as possible. Book online through this page or at willmotthealth.com.au and scroll to my profile

23.01.2022 Hello! How is everyone? What an intense time. For those of you in isolation, or were there anyway because of young children, or physical impairments - I hope I can help you. I have scheduled daily virtual exercise classes, lasting 30 minutes each, and costing only $10 a session. Next weeks classes are as follows (1.15-1.45pm):... Mon 30th Mar - Strengthening & Bone Health Tues 31st Mar - Fitball Wed 1st Apr - Breathing & Relaxation Thur 2nd Apr - Pregnancy Pilates Fri 3rd Apr - Balance & Agility You'll need a safe open space, ideally some exercise band/tubing or light dumbells (you can also use water bottles/canned food!), a fitball for the fitball/pregnancy classes, and a phone/laptop/tablet with internet connection. I'll send you a link and an invoice for each class you would like to participate in, via email. If you pay $30/week you get access to all the classes! It's fun, healthy for mind and body and a great way to connect during these challenging times. I will also continue online assessments and treatments. Hey, I can't put my hands on you right now but there is so much I can still provide. All assessments, treatments and individual home exercise programs (I can also provide guided individual sessions) are currently half price, and if you have a Medicare Care Plan, are bulk-billed. This affordable pricing will continue while the Coronavirus Pandemic prevents Achieve Physiotherapy re-opening the physical clinic. I look forward to connecting with you!

23.01.2022 Dear valued clients, I hope you are are keeping well over this difficult period. I am currently establishing an online platform for payments, appointments and exercise plans. This will help reduce contact time to keep everyone safe. Over the next 2 weeks I will also be deciding on the best possible infection control measures in order to return to work at the clinic.... As weve seen all ready, the situation can change extremely quickly and therefore policies, and service, may need to adjust to these changes. I will give you an update week commencing 11th May and hopefully face-to-face appointments can then be scheduled. Keep safe and sane!

22.01.2022 Please read An Open letter to West Australians, As a group of 10 cardiac anaesthetists working at the Mount, we believe the government isnt acting as quickly as this situation demands.... As a combined group we are receiving a great deal of local and international updates. We are reviewing all of this information and performing our own calculations. Collectively we feel the government is acting about two weeks too late with most of their decisions. We want the public to take their own sensible measures now and not wait for delayed government instruction. The time to go into lockdown isnt now, but a week ago. We have been so lucky in Perth to have a two-week window to see what is happening in other states and countries. We must use this advantage to the maximum benefit. We are asking you to consider: ACTING EARLIER THAN YOU THINK IS NECESSARY. IF THE GOVERNMENT DOESN'T CLOSE SCHOOLS TODAY, PLEASE, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, TAKE YOUR CHILDREN OUT NOW. DO NOT GO TO RESTAURANTS OR CAFES, ANY GATHERINGS OR MEETINGS, GYM, PILATES, THE HAIRDRESSERS, THE PODIATRIST, THE MASSEUSE, ANY PARTIES OR SMALL GATHERINGS, ETC ETC THAT MEANS NOTHING EXCEPT THE BAREST ESSENTIALS NECESSARY TO SUSTAIN LIFE, EG FOOD, AND MEDICINES. STAY AT HOME! YOU ARE A POTENTIAL CARRIER DO NOT GO TO HOSPITAL FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN EMERGENCY CARE. DO NOT UNDERTAKE ELECTIVE SURGERY UNLESS DEEMED ESSENTIAL BY YOUR DOCTORS IT is essential everyone does their part. It would be best if you acted NOW Please protect not only yourself and your family, but also you will be protecting your community as well. WE want to be a Singapore or Hong Kong not A USA Please try and forward this to everyone in your address book. Dr Steve Same, Dr Ken Williams, Dr Paul Rodoreda, Dr Mark Schneider, Dr Kris Wardle, Dr Warren Pavey, Dr Ann Ngui, Dr Paul Sadleir, Dr Anton Van Niekerk, Dr Peter Baird

21.01.2022 Hello Ladies and Gents, I hope you are all well. Coronavirus: At this stage the clinic is open as usual. Please wash your hands upon arrival for 20 secs. I will be using a stronger detergent to wipe down equipment surfaces, and would ask that you bring your own (clean, dry) towel when receiving manual treatment. Pillow cases will be changed in between clients. If anyone has concerns regarding attendance, you can contact me to discuss other options, e.g. telephone consults. I thank you for your understanding.

21.01.2022 But if its not playing game the rest of the time, come and see me!

20.01.2022 After long deliberations and conversations with other health professionals, I have decided to temporarily close the clinic for a period of 2 weeks. Depending on the situation regarding Coronavirus transmission and prevalence 7/4/20, I will either re-open or continue an online platform until it is safe to re-open the physical clinic again. I thank you for your understanding during this difficult time for us all, and will be in touch once I have set-up the exercise classes an...d individual consults, by way of a video link (I am aiming for this coming week). Stay safe and well

08.01.2022 People of Australia, let us work together on this. Our Government are using their most specialised, knowledgeable medical experts, to help guide our strategies and policies, and help curb this pandemic. Dont think of yourself, think of your community. Think of the elderly volunteers at the school crossing, that always wave to you. The person in the wheelchair with lung and heart complications. The critical care nurses, doctors and orderlies stretched to the limit and trying ...to care for their own families too. Your friend who was involved in a car accident that had multiple fractures but needs to wait for surgery as the medical system is stretched to the limit. Do your best - hand washing, social distancing, self-isolation after trips and when ill, and minimising travel. We all have our part to play. It only works when we work together. See more
