23.01.2022 This is the sign of an out of work massage therapist! All the laundry is done! Yes, I'm closed right now due to current restrictions. The laws around remedial therapy and allied health keep changing, and they haven't finished yet. Luckily, due to very low overheads, we will still be here when this all blows through. ... 20.01.2022 As remedial massage comes under the allied health classification, it is business as usual (with extra sanitation!) Here at Achieve Equilibrium. We are a low traffic clinic, meaning we have lots of time to clean, and circulate air, and your chances of community exposure when you receive a massage at our studio is very very low. All public and private health services, including; Hospitals Community-based health services Ambulance and paramedics Non-emergency patient transfer Aged care services and retirement villages Alcohol and other drug services Mental Health Services Primary health services, including General Practitioners and pharmacy related services Blood and breast milk bank Laboratories, pathology and diagnostic services Maternal and Child Health Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations All AHPRA registered health workers - and in addition, social work, speech pathology, dietetics and any other health worker required to fulfil a care plan endorsed by NDIS, TAC, Workcover or DVA - to provide services that prevent a significant change/deterioration in functional independence necessitating escalation of care (e.g. a requirement for specialist input/review, an increase in care needs and/or alternate accommodation, avoiding a hospital admission or emergency department presentation). 09.01.2022 I'm feeling heartbroken at the devastation of this country and have been paralyzed this week with a feeling of needing to help in some way and not knowing how, within the restrictions of maintaining my day to day life. I've decided that for the month of January, all three session sets purchased will see a voucher for one treatment of an equivalent length donated to the local CFA for distribution to volunteers returning from frontline efforts. I wish I could send rain and ta...nkers of water and appropriate care to all affected, but I am going to give what time and care I can. So if you've been wanting to help and you've also been meaning to get a massage, now a is the time to get started! I am an experienced therapist with many years of working in both day spas and sports clinics under my belt. I'm well equipped to handle your soft tissue issues, sporting injuries, chronic pain, relaxation needs and pregnancy requirements.
