14.01.2022 The Australian University Heads of English (AUHE) has sent an open letter to senior management at Charles Sturt University voicing our concerns about the recent axing of the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Liberal Studies degrees. "We are very concerned about the short-sighted nature of a decision that will ramify for all the regions that CSU services and affect those communities in ways detrimental to their diversity and development." "English and literary studies remain o...f interest and relevance to Australian students, and the disciplines and programs offered within Bachelor of Arts degrees at Australian universities are popular and in demand around the country."
