In a coup for Newcastle, MTA Newcastle has secured the incredible talents of Gerard Willems AM, to... perform at a concert to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the foundation of the Newcastle Branch. Gerard Willems is an international performer and pedagogue, Australia’s pre-eminent Beethoven interpreter, and an ARIA Award winning recording artist. He will be performing a personally selected program of works, in addition to premiering a work commissioned by MTA NSW for the occasion, written by local well known composer and teacher, Mr Andrew Chubb. Tickets will be available for the general public from Tuesday 16th March. Concert packages are available to suit everyone.
