08.01.2022 In these rather concerning times, I thought I might clarify the situation with regard to the ACIA courses. The nature of our courses allows very close, face to face contact with participants and instructors. Being a ‘hands on’ course, there is a strong likelihood that participants and instructors will be touching the same pieces of equipment on many occasions during the course. The public has been warned that this is an ideal situation for the transmission of COVID 19. Many ...school camps scheduled at Arapiles over the next few weeks have been cancelled as the school administration makes responsible decisions to safeguard their students. The ACIA is an educational organisation and as such we also have a responsibility to our clients. In years past over the Easter break, Arapiles has had many hundreds of people camped there all using the same facilities and mixing quite closely with their neighbours. This is also not ideal. For the above reasons, we have decided to postpone our Single Pitch Guide Training course scheduled to run 10th 13th April 2020 until September. My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
