19.01.2022 The Monstera is a climbing epiphyte-- in their natural environment, these plants use a tree to latch onto and grow. They have aerial roots that collect its nutrients from that tree rather than the ground. The monstera part of its name comes from its massive size. Monstera leaves can reach 90 cm in length and 75 cm in width. Indoor plants commonly reach 60-80 cm in height. This "Swiss Cheese Plant" has to withstand heavy rainfall and winds in the rainforest. Admittedly you can’t see a HUGE difference here, although normally I use highlighter to create more dew but this is all without plus it made it way more efficient to blend in my Medusa's Makeup Halo Glo face stick in Tiger Lily (I also used it on my lips!).
