25.01.2022 This is Bentley and he is up for adoption at Be The Change Animal Shelter Inc. Bentley is an absolutely beautiful boy, he is approx. 18 months and is fine with ...other dogs and people/ children. He will however chase cats and other small animals. He is super obedient and does not bark, loves to be indoors and lazying in the sun :) He just loves a smooch and a pat and just wants to hang out with some love. He hasn’t had alot of training in his short life and he just want to have fun. Buddy’s new family will be a calm person who has large breed experience and the time to put into obedience and start socialising him with other dogs, animals and people. He would make an ideal jogging or cycling partner. Can be homed with other dogs: No Can be homed with children: Older Can be homed with cats: No Can be homed with other small animals: No Adoption fee: $400 includes first vaccination, microchip & desexing. Please note our application process includes a yard and fencing check, and written landlord approval if renting. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a yard check. If your yard/fencing is approved, we then arrange a meet with your family and/or any other pets you may have. Once all approved, we offer a two week trial. The adoption fee is payable on commencement of the trial. Although we encourage people to let the dog settle in for at least a week, on the rare occasion that a dog is returned during this trial period, the adoption fee is refunded minus a $50 admin fee. Once adopted, we stick by all of our dogs for life, our adoption contract includes a clause that stipulates that if needing re-homing at any time in it's life, we are to be contacted.

20.01.2022 BUSHFIRE EMERGENCY WARNING - SAMPSON FLAT Message Issued: 23:24 03/01/2015 EMERGENCY WARNING FOR A BUSHFIRE BURNING UNDER SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS... CFS advises that a serious bushfire is burning out of control at Sampson Flat in the Mount Lofty Ranges near One Tree Hill, Humbug Scrub, Millbrook Reservoir, Kersbrook, Gumeracha, Birdwood and Mount Crawford Forest. The SAMPSON FLAT fire is travelling in a very erratic manner and is burning freely in all direction towards Upper Hermitage, Chain of Ponds, the Warren area and the townships of Inglewood, Houghton, Cudlee Creek, Lower hermitage and Forreston.. There is a risk to lives and homes. The uncontrolled fire is burning in Scrub. Check and follow your bushfire survival plan. Take shelter when the fire arrives and protect yourself from the fires heat. Only leave now if the path is clear to a safe place. You should not enter this area as the roads may not be safe. Well prepared and actively defended homes can offer safety. Stay tuned to this radio station on a battery-powered radio for updates. For every two dollars spent at a Drakes Supermar...ket, a one cent donation will be made to SA Dog Rescue. In order for these donations to be recorded, a special key tag must be swiped during each transaction. Half yearly, the tally of funds raised will be calculated and issued to SA Dog Rescue in a form of a Drakes gift card (which will be used to purchase much needed dog and cat food for the animals in our care). While this project seems small, imagine if the majority of our fans got on board utilising their key tag while shopping at their local Drakes supermarket. The possibilities would be endless!
