25.01.2022 Excited about a collaboration with US artist Ross Waitman on a remastered Retreat 1-29 cassette boxed set for release in the US. Planning for some open A Cloakroom Orchestra workshops/shows at the Press in Newcastle once it gets warmer ... bring along your drones and join in ... watch this space !

17.01.2022 Vinyl update ... I am thinking of doing a small collectarun of 25 lathe cut 12" of new ACRA material, with printed covers, using a small local Australian vinyl cutter. They would cost $60(ish) plus post to sell nearly @ cost. Do you think that is too much $$ ?

10.01.2022 One of the last things I recorded as A Cloakroom Assembly at the MSquared studio in 1983(ish), for the unreleased Defeat cassette. I made this video about six months later but my memory is foggy.

04.01.2022 A Cloakroom Assembly "To Too Two" LP ready to go into production, in digital format, but also just pricing some lathe cut vinyl versions and maybe cassette. Its a collection of 2-3 minute short pieces. The vinyl versions would have to sell at around <$50 if I pressed 10 only copies. The Retreat Music 4 cassette box in production for US release too !

03.01.2022 Sometimes you would get lost in time and thought and hours would pass away within the minutes of smoking. These little time machines are like that, imagined spaces and distortions in time. Not for people with short attention spans. These spotlight releases will replace the original releases on Bandcamp and Spotify. I use this one on the earbuds while I am writing text.

02.01.2022 I did a bit of tidying up of the A Cloakroom Assembly bandcamp page, archived lots of releases into the Archive Access section and continuing the process of reframing previous releases into new compilations. This third compilation is very downbeat and dark and another dorian gray projection, recorded at the Tighes Hill Sound Pits 2017-19. This is now my favourite ACRA release. 1.5 + hours of almost but not quite music.

02.01.2022 Side two of the Seaweeps single available on Bandcamp subscribers .... Rusty Frippertronics and Air Structures, pretending to be recorded on a cassette recorder transported back through time. All played live - of course. Using two loop pedals.

01.01.2022 Three somewhat melancholy variations on muzak recorded in 2013 in Seminyak Bali, midi stems refitted and spaced apart on a windy afternoon in May 2020, at Tighes Hill. Six word title inspired by Earnest Hemingway.

01.01.2022 Just signed a digital, vinyl, CD deal with WEATNU Records in the US for A CloakRoom Assembly and Solo song stuff ... first off is the "Death is like White Noise ..." more info to come in coming weeks. I have four new releases lined up in post production. I am thinking of releasing the solo art damaged pop stuff as ‘singles EPS’ under the name of Michael Tee and Various Artist will be the eventual LP title collecting all the singles together.
