Complete Chronic Disease Management Program in line with Enhanced Primary Care regulations. Undertake any other initiatives as directed by manager. As a member of the multidisciplinary team you will be responsible for initiating new services and opportunities for growth in accordance with the strategic direction Initiate opportunities to develop new and innovative programs for continual improvement of services for Clients. Work closely with and support to the Manager to maintain a continuity of services for Clients. Participate in continuous professional development in consultation with Clinical Coordinator. QUALIFICATIONS Allied Health Qualification (Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy ) Current General AHPRA Registration New Grads more than welcome Personal Abilities/Attributes/Skills Interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with a diverse range of customers in age, culture, fitness histories and other backgrounds. Possess a customer service focus and understanding the unique needs of each client and respond appropriately. Desire to achieve organisational goals in line with a clear overall vision through planning, managing performance, motivating people and role modelling desired behaviours. High degree of initiative with the capacity to formulate new ideas. The ability to work cooperatively within a team environment. Good administrative and organisational skills including competency in relevant computing requirements. Demonstrated understanding of the Ageing process and associated medical conditions with a rehabilitation focus. Experience within a multidisciplinary Allied Health team. The caseload is acute musculoskeletal injuries where you will develop your assessment and manual therapy skills, you will then have the opportunity to follow these patients through to discharge. The role provides a varied caseload including:... Treatment of acute musculoskeletal injuries sustained in a workplace environment usually seen within the first few hours of injury. (the majority of our patients) Post-surgery rehabilitation (Shoulder, knee, ankle, hand, etc). Fracture management from assessment and plastering through to treatment and rehabilitation. (Training provided). Opportunity to present education/wellness / training programs Some pre-employment and injury function assessments (training provided). Trading business hours only. There is no weekend or evening work required. Essential requirements: Current Australian Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA. Excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will need to: Have good clinical reasoning skills Be well presented at all times Have an interest in acute injury management. You want to make sure you get their blessing before putting their details forward. - Find a past co-worker or boss who is going to give you a glowing reference there’s a very high chance that person will be asked if they’d work with you again and you’d want that answer to be a definitive YES - Don’t pick someone who hasn’t... worked closely with you. When referees are called, they are usually asked to provide detailed accounts of abilities and skills so it’s good to have someone who worked with you on a day to day basis giving the reference. - Give your referees a heads up about the role you’re applying for and a few specifics about the kinds of tasks you’ll be performing in the new job.
