One where the mothers intuition is honoured and encouraged when she becomes concerned about her bubs skin. One where women have a better grasp of their biochemistry, and know how to listen to their body. One where we are taught that there are lots of options that can help problem skin that dont involve the Pill or antibiotics or bleach baths. One where women can actually make informed health choices because they are armed with enough knowledge. One where women are comfortable and confident in their skin. 18.01.2022 So... on Monday I woke up with dermatitis on my eyes. Yep, never happened before, but great timing for the week I launch a skin clinic. Thanks universe By Monday night my eyes were a bit swollen and sore. The dermatitis wasnt itchy, just a little sensitive.... To alleviate the soreness, I applied a herbal eye bath (the joys of having the dispensary at home now! Easy access!). I applied it twice over the course of the night and got a good nights sleep. Woke up Tuesday with the flaking and redness practically gone!! I made up some fresh herbal cream for myself yesterday and have applied it a few times over the last 24 hours. I have basically no redness left on my eyes, the soreness has gone and most importantly, Ive avoided the use of harsh creams like steroid creams on the sensitive and already thin area of the eye. The herbal cream I made is a bit different to the eczema cream I make, as this isnt eczema. I am blown away by the results, and had to share. I have shown the original time dates photos as well, because I for one would find it hard to believe theres that much improvement overnight! Thanks for the reminder universe... to take care of myself, and that what I do and know is friggin amazing Gratitude to our plant medicine Now to finish off a few things before D-Day tomorrow! Em

18.01.2022 Working behind the scenes, #makeupfree This is a goal so many of my patients share - to be able to wake up and get on with their day without spending so much time hiding problem skin. It cracks my heart wide open to share in the pain and the hope and relief of my patients as they begin their journey to healing their skin from within.... The ah-ha moments that we share when I explain what is driving their problems internally... The faces when I explain that the pill has simply paused their hormone problems, not fixed them... The joy as they experience more and more progress each day, and start to see who they ARE being reflected back to them in the mirror I am so passionate about helping to heal problem skin, and bring greater awareness and education to the public about what creates and drives these problems. Because when we know better, we can do better The Acne & Eczema Clinic officially launches on the 6th of August I am eagerly counting down the days! This patient had been on antibiotics for several months for her acne and was stuck in a loop with antibiotic use until she found me.... This progress pic is actually only a month into treatment. Thats what happens when you find driving factors like androgen excess and zinc deficiency and treat them accordingly from the get go! 03.01.2022 Hey, girl Im Emily. Im a dog mum (meet Plum), Thermomix convert, lover of food, plants, and designer shoes. I spend my mornings in the sunshine, and my nights in my dispensary. ... Ten years ago I started studying Naturopathy because my own life (mainly my guts!) was changed so dramatically by seeing a Naturopath at the ripe young age of 15.
