22.01.2022 As Australia prepares for the roll-out of a COVID-19 vaccine, our Government needs a strategy to strengthen the workforce capability and capacity in preparation for immunisation delivery during and beyond the pandemic. Registered nurses are qualified to deliver vaccinations independently, provided they have completed immunisation training and practice within the legislative and regulatory framework applicable to the relevant state or territory jurisdiction. As the largest gro...up of health care professionals in Australia, a highly skilled nursing workforce is pivotal to leading the way in ensuring there is a high uptake of COVID-19 and other vaccines nationally. ACN has a proud history of delivering high-quality immunisation education across all of Australias states and territories. We understand the importance of not only education, but also updating health practitioners immunisation knowledge so they can be effective advocates and promote immunisation uptake nationally. Learn more about how you can study with us to update your immunisation skills here: https://bit.ly/2Zj8Heh
