25.01.2022 Yesterday, one of our Accounting Team Leader's, Heena Patel, introduced her part-time passion project with the National ACOR Team in our fortnightly Learning Lab. Heena generously shared her lunchbreak, and her expertise, with over a hundred ACOR people online, and provided some practical tips on keeping our bodies in alignment when sitting in front of a computer all day. We learned some new exercises and put reminders in our calendars to stop, stretch and move our bodies thr...oughout the day. Also pictured, Mark Taimre and Zi Zheng (Ben) Law from our Fremantle Office, participating in the session’s activities. Thank you Heena - the team thoroughly enjoyed your session and we’ve gained some great new skills and healthier habits for the future! #healthyhabits #workingfromhome #acorconsultants #acorpeople

15.01.2022 We are growing rapidly, and in order to sustain that growth we are on the hunt for a number of talented individuals to join us and contribute to our ongoing success and growth across various disciplines. It should go without saying, but it really is the people that make the business what it is, and that has always been the case at ACOR. Cliché's aside, what that really means is that, above all, we value our people, and we are dedicated to our mission of "creating an environme...nt where our people thrive." This can mean different things to different people, but if you'd like to explore what it could mean for you, get in touch now https://www.acor.com.au/careers/current-opportunities/
15.01.2022 As part of #NAIDOC Week 2020, ACOR staff from across Australia enjoyed a presentation from Bart Pigram, a proud Yawuru man from the West Kimberley region of Western Australia, who runs a local tourism business - Narlijia Tours. Speaking from ACOR’s office in Broome, Bart shared his local aboriginal history, spoke about cultural compliances, protocols in relation to communication and ways to embrace local aboriginal culture in today's business. It was a truly deadly presentation. #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe
14.01.2022 Today is R U Ok? Day - our national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone to stay connected and making Are You OK? a part of daily ritual. Although R U Ok? Day is a great opportunity to check in with family, friends, or co-workers, ACOR would like to encourage you to check in with yourself too. Ask yourself Am I Ok?... Am I in a good headspace to listen to someone else? We encourage you to start a conversation with someone today, even if that someone is you. Are they really ok? Ask them today. #RUOK #RUOKDay #OneACOR #MentalHealth #StayConnected
