07.01.2022 Congratulations to Professor Brigid Gillespie, Chair of ACORN’s Research Committee, who this year received the Sigma International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame... award. Entry to the Hall of Fame recognises nurse researchers who have achieved significant and sustained national or international recognition and whose research has improved the profession and the people it serves. A nice end to a challenging year in research, Brigid posted on Twitter, with this photo of her award. Brigid is also Professor of Patient Safety in Nursing at the Griffith University School of Nursing and Midwifery and Gold Coast University Hospital. We are privileged to have Brigid leading our Research Committee, which coordinates all aspects of research activity for the College, including supporting and guiding researchers.
