We've had many good years of music running the Daylesford Folk Blues Fest and Open Mics from 2010 through to 2013. The time has come to close this Facebook Page down in the near future. Thank you for being part of the Festival and Open Mic journey.The music has continued but on a more personal level with Lunar Dust and Sugar 'n' Spice and Solo ventures. 11.01.2022 Hello Folks, Beautiful autumn colours in nature, the moon is in full swing and the winter fires are burning. A time to relax and enjoy a winters afternoon in the country!... How about coming along to something wonderful on Sun 30th. June? The Mixed Brew Gig with Sugar ‘n’ Spice will launch their debut CD Homebrew and Fat Chance playing their wonderful ‘stuff’. Venue: Scrub Hill 1869, 1713 Daylesford Ballarat Rd, Cnr. Sawmill Rd, Newlyn in Central Vic. Doors open at 12.30 PM you will be able to imbibe on some wonderful local wines and enjoy some food from the Deli Van on site. You will also have the opportunity to view or buy some of Vanessa’s lovely paintings set up in the Sunday School Hall. Being held at the gorgeous, historic Scrub Hill, its promises to b...e a fun day with live music, food, local wines, art exhibition and sales, and readings from the anthology. Featuring MWC member readings, Sugar'n'Spice live music, choral from the Moorabool Soulsters, art from MAGnet, local wines and bar for purchase, extensive hot food, incl. vegetarian options, cold drinks, tea and coffee for purchase at the venue.
