22.01.2022 After staying home all week, about to lose our minds, we ventured down to the beach this morning for a walk / ride and some fresh air! These times are tough, for everyone, so just a change of scene (ie, not the living room or backyard) helps break up the mundane. Isolation is HARD.

11.01.2022 2020 has been an interesting one, hasn't it.. life has been really hectic since July, and I can finally start to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Still so many projects on (some that I hope to share soon), and some that will take me well into next year. Anyway. I had a moment of design meditation (may have made that up) and drew some lemons, because a. its almost summer, and b. I've been into all things mediterranean lately.

10.01.2022 My initial thoughts on isolation were that it was going to be hard with kids, but it'll be a great opportunity to get on top of things. Wrong. I wanted to work, do admin, update on my social media and website, clean and sort the house, maybe get on top of my to-do list? Turns out I could only pick a couple of tasks. Work was up there, making sure my clients were looked after during what is a difficult time for them too. Caring for and entertaining the kids was probably (obvio...usly?) the top priority (and the hardest!). Annddd.. that's pretty much all I had time for. But one of the best things to come out of it was getting a chance to paint again! My son and I both have canvases going, and I sit with him, teaching him about colours and brush strokes. It's been amazing, and calming. This is a small section of his that I love! While he smacks the colours on, I help by blending it. Overall the painting is hectic, but little sections like this are just perfect.

07.01.2022 Font appreciation. I used to have to have one of those 80s style typography books, where you'd trace the letters for *awesome* school projects. Actually, I still have it.

04.01.2022 I love working with small businesses and supporting local! Two brands I worked on, Mr Mattress and New Leaf coming together to support Curtin University Rugby.

So today, with a moment to spare, I thought I'd share these @sealaneswa labels I created for their store-made products, using the custom graphics I designed. The line includes sauces, spice mixes and marinades. I'll try share more
