24.01.2022 Congratulations to our swimmers who competed in the first of their individual events today at Chandler. Cosette took off 2 secs to place 15th in the 12 yrs 200 free, Mali placed 31st in the 16 yrs 100 free with a 0.02 PB and Meghan gaining BRONZE in the 12yrs 200 breast stripping 8.27 secs off her entry time. 20.01.2022 Swimming Queensland wishes to advise that LC Preparation meet #1 which was set down for 10 and 11 October has been cancelled. The factors taken into account in... reaching this decision are: - Normally the Qld Short Course Championships are run in early August. Due to COVID, they were rescheduled to late September. - SQ LC Preparation #1 was scheduled to be 8 weeks after the Qld SC Championships normal date to assist coaches and athletes with their preparation for the December Qld Championships. - The meet was left in the calendar until now in case there were further COVID lockdowns imposed preventing the SC Championships taking place. Clubs and Regions will continue to conduct meets throughout October and November to prepare for the LC season.
