08.01.2022 Greener than the rest. This nature strip had a small amount of Kikuyu turf added a few years ago and has slowly spread through the lawn. It does not get watered.... It has a weed and feed spray 1-2 times per year. Fed with a controlled release fertilizer 2-3 times per year. Mowed regularly and a little higher as it warms up (5cm) The lawns you see around this property are a mixture of rye grass, Kikuyu and weeds. A little planning and general maintenance goes a long way to keep your lawn looking good.
