25.01.2022 What a fantastic new product! WPC fencing. We have seen this installed and it looks fantastic. Wont rust or rot and reduces noise considerably. Check out the link for more info. Its about time there was a long lasting and better looking alternative!!!

24.01.2022 Hi all, Spring is here at last!!! After a busy winter we are looking forward to some great projects we have waiting for us this Spring/Summer. A quick glimpse of whats to come includes a 68 x 40 indoor arena and stable complex (we start site works on Monday) two whole of property landscaping projects (first one starts next week) there are arenas and round yards to build, some large fencing and irrigation projects and numerous other structures to construct. Phewand thats all before Xmas!! And keep an eye out for a series of articles we are doing for Hoofbeats magazine, we hope you find them useful. We will post photos of progress on some of these projects over coming weeks and welcome any questions or requests for advice you may have. Till then enjoy the look of a post and rail fence on green paddocks we completed a few weeks back!

24.01.2022 Considering kickboards and wondering what your options are? Its one of the most common questions we are asked when we build a new stable, retrofit a shed with stable paneling or refurbish existing stables - and in short, durable and safe options are limited! Marine and form ply are economical options but can deteriorate quickly when exposed to constant moisture. Hardwood boards are much stronger but do require regular maintenance to look their best, not to mention their pot...ential to split and crack with the impact of a strong kick, creating dangerous sharp edges and protrusions. Good knot free hardwood is also getting expensive and more difficult to find! 21.01.2022 Great progress on the 70m x 40m arena and stable complex currently under construction. Roof and wall sheeting starts next week then we can start on the fun stuff..the stable fit out!

17.01.2022 PVC Fencing - This one tip can save you money and a severely injured horse. When used correctly PVC post and rail looks fantastic and can provide a safe, long lasting fencing solution. BEFORE you buy ask for a small sample of the post and rail and conduct a simple test. Stomp on it, hit it with a hammer, drive over it and generally do your best to destroy it! Why you may ask? Because you want it to be beautiful AND safe! A significant proportion of PVC sold in Australia is ma...nufactured in China. There are one or two local companies that do produce an Aussie made product but the majority is imported. There are certainly cost savings associated with the imported product BUT only if you buy a product that has the right mix of chemicals. Without impact modifiers and UV stabilisers your beautiful new PVC fence could be a ticking time bomb. Badly manufactured PVC will shatter on impact leaving razor sharp edges that can cut flesh to the bone in an instant. Please do an impact test on samples before you buy, its simple and quick and will give you peace of mind! Its ok if the samples deform, bend, buckle and look trashed under the onslaught of your testing but they should not shatter! 13.01.2022 Sorry its been a while since our last post, we have been so busy on a number of projects our page gets neglected sometimes!! Arena, Round Yard and yard fencing just completed using a mixture of CCA timber, Horserail and Stockguard, the end result looks awesome and is super safe for horse and rider.

11.01.2022 Another fencing project! This one was a little different, recycled black heavy duty water pipe as posts, 5 lines of Equibraid through the posts. CCA timber painted black for all the strainer assemblies. Looks great and is working very well! (sorry about the photo quality)

11.01.2022 A quick update on the indoor arena and stable under construction. The structure is now complete and looking awesome! Water tanks are in, concreting is complete and the stable front columns are installed waiting for fit out. Electrical and lighting are under way to ensure Santa and the reindeer have no difficulty landing on the roof!! OMG..we forgot the chimney!!!

09.01.2022 UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to every share, comment and view each and every one of you helped to close the net around the people who stole our precious cargo. Thanks to YOU a FB friend reported the location of the ute to police and we were able to have it towed. The bitter sweet reality is that the ute was empty and our mothers possessions are lost. They may have been dumped in bushland or are awaiting sale on gumtree, swap meets or a pawn shop. Whilst we are incredibly sad wit...h this outcome each and every one of you have restored our faith in humanity, your kindness and support has overwhelmed our small family!! THANK YOU!!!! Again thanks to your support the ute was sighted across a large area of the Perth Metro area and if our mums possessions were dumped they could be anywhere. If you hear of a sighting of a large green plastic crate with a number of smaller plastic crates please let us know!! These before and after pictures of one of our recent landscaping projects will give you an idea of how we transform properties from dirt to desirable!!! On this occasion we built new paddocks, an arena, the stable fit out, installed the bore pump, irrigation pumps and system and finished with the landscaping!
