15.01.2022 Day 16: Gobustan and Baku Travel out of Baku, along the Caspian Sea coast, to see the petroglyphs at Gobustan. Return to the city and walk along the promenade. In the evening take a ferry into the bay to see the city lights.

14.01.2022 Day 13: to Signaghi and beyond. Leave Tbilisi and travel through the wine growing district of Kakheti. Visit Bodbe Monastery then the fortified town of Signaghi. Drive on through the vineyards to a family run winery for a wine tasting and stay overnight in the accompanying guesthouse.

09.01.2022 Day 14: to Seki, Azerbaijan Cross the border into Azerbaijan and travel to Seki. Visit Nukha Fortress including Xan Sarayi (Khans Palace) and a craft market. Also call in on a caravanserai and a silk showroom. Dinner at a rather flash restaurant.
09.01.2022 Day 9: Tbilisi Walk through the old town to Meidan Square, cross the Mtkvari River to Rike Park, take the cable car up to the statue of Mother Georgia, walk under the Narikala Fortress down to the sulphur baths area and back through Old Tbilisi. Later attend a puppet show in a private house, then more wandering about the city.

06.01.2022 Day 8: to Tibilisi, Georgia Plunge into the Debed Canyon, visit Hagphat Monastery and the village of Akhatala. Travel to the border and cross into Georgia. Continue into the capital, Tibilisi.
