His Eminence, the Grand Mufti of Australia, Dr. Ibrahim, announced that Friday, 31st of July 2020 will be the Day of Eid Al-Adha. ... This year Eid and Hajj will be different. It’s unfortunate that many Muslims who intended to perform Haj this year will not be able to travel and those who planned to celebrate Eid in large gatherings, as previous years, will also not be possible due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. As such, due to restriction from NSW Government, this year we will be performing Eid prayer in a COVID-Safe way. This means that you will be performing Eid prayer in your houses to keep your family and community safe from the spread of virus. Khudba will be given online on via our Youtube Channel and Facebook page at 7:30AM. The hall is located opposite our mosque at 14 fifth avenue, Blacktown NSW 2148 and available for hire for nika, eid gatherings, fatiha, and many other events. We also provide catering service at a very affordable price. All the fees will go back to our mosque and maintenance activities to keep improving community assets.
