22.01.2022 BLUE CARD UPDATE: For those of you who have applied for your blue cards and are waiting on the arrival of the physical card we are aware of the current delays. If you have received a letter from Blue Card Qld (not the email) with all your details on it (name, address and card number), Please take it into the office so it can be recorded. For a short time this will be accepted however once your card has arrived you must attend the office so the schools records can be updated. Any questions please message the team. Thank you.

21.01.2022 YEAR 6 PARENTS: On Wednesday morning before school the 2020 year book will be on sale in the hall canteen. We have also found year books from 2014 (limited amount) (the current yr 6’s prep year) and these will also be on sale along with the 2019 book (limited amount too). All year books will be sold for $20 each and eftpos or cash will be accepted.

17.01.2022 As we are coming to the end of the school year, the P&C committee would like to thank the whole school community for its support in 2020. We know this has not been a normal year thanks to Covid and we had to do things a little different but we all got there in the end. We thank all the volunteers who helped out in different areas including tuckshop and other school events. Without your support these events wouldn’t have happened. We look forward to working with you all in 2021. Enjoy the final few days of school and have a merry Christmas and safe New Year. See you all in 2021. The first P&C meeting for 2021 is being held on 16 February and we would love to see you there.

17.01.2022 That is a wrap for the Fathers Day stall. We would like to thank all the volunteers who help make the past few days run so smoothly. You all did an amazing job. Also thank you to the wider community in embracing a new system this year with the vouchers. We found this was a great success and helped make the day run smoothly.

For those who missed the deadline tonight we are going to see if we can get flexischools extended for another day and will confirm once we have spoken to the company. In the mean time another option will be. I will be at school on Friday from 9am for a couple of hours and will be able to process eftpos payments for vouchers. We would prefer this option to cash but understand this time may not suit everyone. Please come and see me in the p and c room to finalise your payment. This will be the final opportunity to pre purchase your vouchers. Thanks Melina

14.01.2022 The P&C continue to receive enquires around the purchasing of the father's day gift vouchers. Unfortunately this has now closed to allow the team time to allocate over 1000 vouchers to the students. Cash will be accepted on the day for those who missed out on the vouchers. If you are going to be giving your child cash we kindly ask that the correct amount is given so we can reduce the amount of cash handling on the day. The price points of the gifts are $2, $5 and $10. Thank you

13.01.2022 We are always grateful for all of our volunteers- every little bit you do helps out our school community. But today is a very big thank you to someone that you would all likely know (who today did her last tuckshop roster) as her eldest graduates at the end of this year. Megan Westbury the contribution that you have given to the school community over the many years - we are very grateful for. Twilight markets, tuckshop, Vice President, creative designs or just a general hand (just to name a few) all with a smiling face and an eagerness to get in an get things done. 10.01.2022 Father’s Day stall is on next Wednesday and Thursday. To allow us to follow the covid safe rules we can only have a small amount of helpers in the room at any one time. Looking to do shifts to fall in line with the kids lunch breaks. Time slots are for Wednesday: 9am-11am, 11:30am-1pm and 1:30pm-3pm. You will need to stay until 3pm on Wednesday as we have a class shopping at 2:45-3pm. Thursday we are looking for helpers in the following time slot: 1:30pm-2:45pm. Please let us know if you can help out for a time slot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

08.01.2022 Colour Explosion Fun Run letters were emailed home yesterday afternoon so now is the time to start your fundraising for the event on 18 March. Everyone will need to create a new profile even if you created one from last year (apologies this was miscommunicated in the letter). Details of how to do this are in the letter.

08.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS - The Father’s Day Stall has been re-opened on Flexischools but it will close again at 5PM tomorrow (Friday) and won’t be re-opened. Please appreciate that once orders close we as volunteers need to print the vouchers sort them per child by class and distribute to the classrooms - before the stalls on Wednesday/Thursday.
