23.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS . We've arrived at a junction of our Choose Your Own Adventure path. In these (almost) four years, we've honestly had The Best Time. We've made friends, met some incredibly interesting people, made beautiful food and coffee, and admired many haircuts. . We've had bloody sore feet, super late nights, one or three tantrums (me), and a few broken dishes (Laura!).... . And I wouldn't change a moment. . I watch this video and I feel so much love for my mum. Vanessa has really captured both the essence of the dish and my mother's personality. (And those hands. 15.01.2022 Soup. . I call this one speck, tomato and butter bean with sourdough croutons (and even more butter beans on the side, but squished with lemon and garlic to smoosh on the bread.)

09.01.2022 Finger marks. This *was* a slice of dark chocolate, cardamon and olive oil mousse cake. . Sob. Sh!t's gettin' real. I feel like I'm breaking up with people. I need a playlist.

05.01.2022 Cocido madrileño. Basically, Espanish chicken soup. Without the chicken. . But in English? Smoky pork (smoked ribs + chorizo + hock), chickpea and noodle soup with sourdough olive oil croutons. The broth will nurture your soul, promise xoxo

02.01.2022 My people, we haven't been able to find the right buyer for le shop. . Our lease option is due for renewal next month. If we can't find the right buyer by then, we have to dismantle and leave our little village without its corner cafe. Sigh. . We'd love to hand the baton on.
