10.01.2022 Amazing Opportunity!! Performer Callout Renowned visual artist Kellie O'Dempsey is presenting an installation in the 2020 Botanica Festival (in the Brisbane Botanical Gardens), and is working in collaboration with director/choreographer Brian Lucas to create a short (45min) contemporary performance work that will animate the installation over four evening performances.... Brian and Kellie are looking to find 4-5 performers who are physically skilled, confident in structured improvisational performance, and interested in site specific work. These performers will work with Brian to develop an ensemble performance that responds to (and extends on) the installation. This project is a paid gig (details below). Performance Dates: Fri 22nd & 23rd May (early evening, time TBC) Fri 29th & Sat 30th May (early evening, time TBC) Rehearsal Date: Sun 17th May - 4hr workshop/rehearsal (time TBC) Performers Payment Schedule: 4 hr rehearsal/workshop @ $30 hr each = $120 2hr tech run @ $30 hr each = $60 4 x 2hr call out for 45min performance @ $65 hr = $130 Total $700 per performer NB.
