16.01.2022 -- THIRD YEAR FILM SCREENINGS: FORUM 6 CINEMAS, WAGGA WAGGA -- Third year Bachelor of Stage and Screen students (Acting, Design and Television Production) are b...ack again this year with some very creative short films! Working collaboratively with Bachelor of Creative Industries (Acting and Performance Design), third year students put their skills learnt throughout their degree to the test with these 8 original projects. Films will be screened at the Forum 6 cinema, Wagga Wagga, 5pm, October 18. Here they must wait until their number is called to reveal if they proceed to the afterlife or return to the world of the living. SORRY Written by Emefa Ezou, Directed by Emefa Ezou and Joshua Hardman Matt is going on a journey but first, he needs to make amends. Will he be forgiven or is it too late? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CULT LEADER Written by Maxine Mueller, Directed by Maxine Mueller and Danielle Porter Middlingly popular day time show ‘A Day in the Life’ brings you their newest episode all about a local cult leader. Attempting to raise their social media presence in order to gain more members, Amnon and Jeremy invite you along to their house to see what they get up to. UNREQUITED Written by Claire Honeywood, Directed by Claire Honeywood and Dominic Gunning Unrequited is a short non-rom-com about Ellie, a young university student trying to make her way through the dating world. But living in a culture where hook-ups and meaningless sex is the status quo, she struggles finding genuine human connection.

13.01.2022 SCCI students are now transitioning back to online study after several weeks of on-campus intensives. BCI Acting and Performance Design students on the Wagga ca...mpus have been engaging in stage and screen classes and performances, including I HAVE A HUMAN BRAIN, created and performed by second year Acting and Design students, directed by Samantha Dowdeswell. Although audiences were restricted to a limited number of staff and students, students were able to come back to campus and work and perform on stage. Written & Directed by Danielle Porter & Claire Read Joey and Dan are in a position of chaos after losing their one chance at twenty-million dollars. With blind determination and a pair of children’s night goggles, they find themselves making eccentric plans outside of a stranger’s house. CUFFED Written by Georgia Browett & Jay Wilson, Directed by Georgia Browett Two friends costume party plans go wrong when they end up handcuffed together. CORROLONG Written & Directed by Angus Mouncey A young man believes his small time country town of Corrolong Creek has been robbed of the world’s most liveable city award. This is his video to prove the judges wrong. BACKROOM Written & Directed by Nathan Partington Backroom is inspired by a creepypasta known as The Backrooms. Follow Grey as she enters her own Backroom.
