14.01.2022 As another year has came to an end again I am one proud teacher. I was blessed with group of year 12 tutoring students Jennifer, Maria, Lyanna, Abigayle, Bea, Katie, Alan, Tommy, Bilaal, Mariam, The 3 Kevin’s who grew into mature young adults who were all persistent, focused, determined to the point that they all stayed at the tutoring place until midnight the day before the exam morning. I am soooo proud of every one of them as I watched them go to exams with a big smile on... their faces. Every one of them have earned a place in my heart and every one of them have a great future ahead of them. I love you all and I will always be here to follow your journey and success in life. Thank you all for letting me guide you and believe in yourself as I believe in all of you. Follow your dream and as I always told you there is nothing that you guys can not achieve. You are the best. 11.01.2022 Year 12 students, as you wait for your vcaa exam results use this time productively. It is nearly Christmas, there is lots of casual work out there where you can not only make some money, but get to know what kind of work exists. Don’t forget with advancement in technology new jobs are being created every day. You also might want to consider getting on the web and searching to see what Universities and other educational institutions are offering. Don’t forget to reconsider y...our options by considering what is the pathway the Universities are offering. Don’t assume every uni offers the same courses. They don’t and don’t assume every degree leads to the same pathway. It doesn’t. You must do your background research so that you have clear understanding of the course you want to choose. Once you have done your research then when your Atar score comes out, it will make it easier for you to realistically consider your options. See more

10.01.2022 VCAA VCE Exams are about to finish and End of year exams are about to start for the rest of the students at schools. This is the best time to reflect back on your learning journey for this year and focus on using end of year exams as not marks but as achievements and progress in your learning. Exams are good tools to see if you can focus and set time management during the exam period and to reflect back not only on your knowledge of the content but also your SKILLS in the sub...ject. Once exams ends it is very effective to revisit your SUBJECT SELECTIONS for next year to see if you have made the right choices. Remember my phrase ‘ building a house starts from the stumps’ meaning you need a foundation for your subject selection. Also don’t forget to celebrate your achievements throughout the year and be happy of mild stones that will form the bases for who you are and who you will become. See more

04.01.2022 As most students are about to finish exams it is that time of the year students and parents need to reflect back on the year and exam experience to reconsider Subject Selections for next year. Parents please do not pressure your child to take subjects because you want them to become ....it should be based on student interest, skill, knowledge and the dreams each child has. Let them dream big then they will achieve big. Let your children follow their dreams and achieve success in the future. Every child has the potential but they all need support and guidance and most importantly understanding and acceptance. I believe in every one of you.

01.01.2022 This morning all year 12 students got their Atar scores. Today is the day you need to be excited but also calm. If you did get the scores you needed and you are offered your first choice make sure you get onto the uni admin website and accept the offer. This way you lock in your first choice and you can still go through second round and apply for other places. Please reread my previous entry and follow the directions. You must do your research of different pathways and now that you have your scores be realistic. Dont forget there is lots of options and pathways. If you are struggling please ring your school, make an appointment with your career person go to your school and seek assistance. Good luck every one. Remember there is lots of opportunities you just have to make the right choice for the right future for yourself.
